There's nothing left for me in this life... |

haha, just kidding, but for some reason I was thinking about suicide this morning on my way to work. Maybe it was the 124 year old asian woman in front of me going 3 miles an hour while she tried with every bit of strength in her body to move her car from the right lane to the exit ramp, I swear her arms were going to fall off. But she got me to thinking, do I really want to live to be 124 years old? Sure it would be cool to see all the new technology and advancements in science that we will make in the future, but is it worth sitting in a glorified prison and shitting myself? I guess that wouldn't be too bad because I may not know I'm shitting myself and then someone else has to come clean the shit off of my old saggy ass, but then again I could be completely sane still... that could suck, or it could be awesome.
Imagine that you're sitting at Thanksgiving dinner with your children, grandchildren, step-children, whatever and you have to shit. Now you're really enjoying... [Read More]

Could this be the next big fad? |
|

Bell bottoms, hyper-color t-shirts, mullets, slap bracelets, low rider jeans, what do all of these things have in common? They were fads of their time. People would rock clothing and/or accessories that they 'thought' made them look cool or fit in with the popular group. Sometimes these things were good (mmmm low rider jeans) and other times they were pretty horrific when you look back on them *cough* mullets *cough*.
I think it's time for the newest fad to catch on with the 'it' crowd and I believe I have found it!

That's right folks, starching your jeans and then bunching them up above your knee so you look like a giant slinky or a midget wearing stilts under his jeans. I mean, Ben Franklin used to rock pants like this back in the day, so why not bring back the 'semi' knickerbocker look.... Ok I don't really have a good way to compare these pants to anything else, but just look... [Read More]

Qik has launched for the iPhone |
|

Qik.com has launched their streaming video application for the iPhone, however you'll need to be jailbroken in order to install and use it. You can find it in both the Cydia and Installer applications. I've messed around with it a little bit with a 1st Gen iPhone on the EDGE network and it's not as bad as I thought. There is a delay to getting LIVE video up, I actually haven't been able to see myself live yet, but I'm at work and haven't had much time to play around with it. It does upload the videos to your Qik page pretty quickly though so people can view them. You can see my random videos at mak10's profile » QIK , there's nothing special just looking around our office...
Try it out if you have an iPhone on EDGE, Wifi and 3G and let us know how it does with streaming... or post of your qik page here for everyone to check out.

Soulja Boy (and probably others) Make Huge Cash Off Of Youtube |
|
Aug 13, 2008 - 3:19 PM - by MaK10

In the latest shitty video from Soulja Boy Tellem, the young [shitty] rapper comes out and tells everyone how much youtube pays him per view and per comment and it's kind of ridiculous when you think about it. According to him he makes .15 cents per comment and .02 cents per view, so if you look at his video for "Crank That", which has almost 39 million views, he's made almost a million bucks just on that one video.... 1 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS! Youuuuuuuuuuuu!! I refuse to post his latest video here because I refuse to give him any publicity towards making more money (even though this site is hardly publicity). But now it makes sense as to why Avril Lavigne was pushing her fans to watch her videos to try and make her the most viewed video on youtube.... so she could make bank since her concert ticket sales were shit.
Anyone want to make a video of something stupid as hell and try to get people to view it just to spite Soulja Boy? I still can't believe this...... [Read More]

Censorship in Movies |
|
Aug 11, 2008 - 10:49 AM - by MaK10

This is getting ridiculous, why is there a ratings board for movies if people are still going to try to boycott certain films and claim they are racist, wrong, insensitive, or whatever their complaints are? I get the idea of trying to prevent kids from seeing stuff that is a little too graphic or vulgar, but to boycott a movie because you feel it's insensitive to disabled people is ridiculous. If you don't like what the movie is portraying, don't go see the fucking movie! By boycotting a movie and getting the media's attention you are only driving more and more people to see that movie, if you weren't so retarded you might realize that!
If you haven't figured it out yet, this is in response to people getting angry over a faux film that appears within 'Tropic Thunder' called 'Simple Jack' where Ben Stiller plays a mentally challenged (aka retarded) person, I believe, to win try to win an oscar or something. It's basically making fun of all those actors that think that by... [Read More]
