Hot Fuzz Review

Okay so we already know the plotline to Hot Fuzz. Simon Pegg gets fired from a police force and has to go to this town where nothing bad happens. Now I have to say, the trailer makes Hot Fuzz looks like a fun night out at the movies. But to tell you the truth, it could have been alot better. Now if you have seen Shaun of the Dead you can tell that in both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead most of the movie takes place in a bar. I'm guessing Edgar Wright (director of both films) loves to go to a bar. The thing I did like about this film is it jumps right into in. It doesn't take a half an hour to get to the point. There is not alot of blood in this film, which you might expect. I mean in one scene a bald guy gets smashed on the head with a (glass) bottle by Simon Pegg. And another scene where one of the villan's gets stabbed in the mouth. After seeing this film, I wouldn't buy it on DVD. I mean I might put it on my Netflix queue when it comes on DVD but probably not.

In all I give Hot Fuzz a: 3/5
In No Go Row: Don't Go. Wait 'Till DVD

I disagree. This movie was incredible. And no blood? Come on.. All im going to say is the church scene, I dont wanna give it away although its kinda seen in the trailer. I loved the movie and thought it was a great blend of action/comedy and just absolutely ridiculous at times. Yeah i did like shaun of the dead more, but this is still a great movie and I'll be picking up the DVd when it comes out.
