Spiderman 3

I dont wanna go on too much about the movie because I don't want to give away too many spoilers.

So first off, i thought it was decent. Personally I still think the 1st one was the best and doc octopus kicked ass in the 2nd one, but didn't like a lot of the story. And now the third, sandman didn't interest me at all. I never realized he was such a big pussy. Venom was cool even though he was only in the last 20 minutes or so, which was fine. And Harry as Goblin 2 or whatever, was good and probably one of the better parts. The idea that the whole trilogy basically revolved around Harry and Pete's relationship was a good choice. And the third installment definitely brought all of that full circle and to a good close. The sandman and venom stuff just seemed like filler for the rest of the movie. I heard that the producers made Raimi put venom in the movie to please the fanboys, and it did kinda feel like that. They could have easily brought the Symbiote into the story line, turned spidey evil and then at the end had him battle Sandman, it would have been fine. And maybe then there would have been a little more character development of Sandman, like we saw with Doc Octopus in #2. I really felt like i knew nothing about sandman... yeah we saw breifly how he came to be and what his situation was, but not a whole lot. I dont know much about the spiderman comics so that could be exactly how we were introduced to sandman, but who knows.

I would recommend seeing the movie if you were a fan of the other 2. Is it going to turn you onto the other movies if you've never seen them? Probably not. Good close to the trilogy (even though #4 is on the way with or without the original cast/crew) so we'll see what happens next. Well we already know that Lizard and Carnage will be in the 4th installment, just interested to see who comes together to get it off the ground.
