Yeah, this should be a good one. I like Guillermo Del Toro, although I didnt really care for Blade II, but Hellboy was pretty cool, still gotta watch his other one, the horror movie... can't think of the name off hand.

Finally, someone else who thought Blade 2 was weak. Guillermo also did the Devils Backbone which is essentially a ghost story, i think that might be the one you are referring to. Either way, Pan's rapes faces, literally. Go see it.

not as much fantasy as I was expecting based on the trailers, but still a great movie. I wanted to see a lot more of the baby eating "Pale Man" personally.

I loved Pan's Labyrinth. Also loved The Orphanage, which (I think) is produced by the director of PL. Both awesomely creepy!

yeah, me and the g/f were gonna go see the orphanage a couple weeks ago, but since it was in limited release it was playing at odd hours around us so we didn't get a chance. I still want to see it though, and yeah its produced by Guillermo Del Toro, who supposedly is directing the 2 Hobbit movies that are coming out, which will be produced by Peter Jackson.

I loved this movie. Too bad it was in spanish, with english subtitles.
This movie could have been terrific if it was all in english.

I dont think it would have been as good if it was in english. The fact that it took place in the past in spain would have had to have been changed if the movie was in english.
