I really liked the show actually. The opening scene was pretty bad-ass and I think the overall sci-fi element of it is going to be really interesting. Not to mention the effects with the see-thru skin were cool.

The jury's still out for me... While I liked the pilot, I was hoping to be blown away by it...

I am not giving up on it, though... it has a lot of potential...

Yeah, I hear you. Hopefully it does well, I read that the ratings weren't very good and a lot of the critics (which doesn't really mean anything) didn't like it.

I wouldn't say I was blown away by it, but it had more of stuff I like than alot of other stuff on tv. Love the conspiracy stuff, and the whole idea of science at the edges. I've been tuned in to the Hadron Supercollider that is trying to recreate the Big Bang. They say it could create black holes, anti-matter, etc., and that ties right into the fringe idea to me.

I liked the opening, but we even more intrigued by the trailer for the next show, with the monster-baby. Good hook there.

I'm also into jj abrams work, and like the idea that the story may interweave through the series, rather than one plot per show like X Files. I found myself recording the icons flashed at each commercial break, in case they 'mean' something in an ARG sort of way. butterfly, leaf, six fingered hand, etc.
