I just read this... very sad, he was a good actor and the dark knight is going to be amazing because of him.

Wow, so Dark Knight will now be remembered for his last film. Hopefully, this will be his greatest performance.

I'll always be angry that the last time we saw Aaliyah she was in that horrible "Queen of the Damned" movie.

be4 doing 'the dark knight' heath ledger was in alone in a hotel room 4 1 month to study up his character. during that he developed insomnia (sleeping disability) and he was taking sleeping pills, and now still with insomnia had a overdose.

yea, what i was reading was that because of the role, "joker" really got to him. making him become an insomniac. He said that because of the role he had horrible nightmares, and it was as if the joker had become him in real life. Then came the sleeping pills. Its a sad thing he was a great actor.

Incredibly sad. Leaves his little daughter behind. From what I've seen in the previews for The Dark Knight - he looks great as The Joker. for me, being an aussie, this is extremely sad news, and when my freidns txted me on the mornin to tell me it had happened, i thougt he was playing some sick joke. But then i turned onto the news...

In my film and tv uni class, someone asked whether Dark Knight will be cancelled due to Heaths death. most people dont think so, since he had completed all the nessecary scenes and the movie is in CGI faze atm.
