About the Monster

Do you think the monster will become stronger in the sequel?

Not if the sequel takes place the same night... if its after, then sure, why not?

I don't see how it would get any stronger... we might see it being more powerful, but the monster itself isn't going to bulk up.

I'd like to imagine that if the sequel takes place after the original, that clover leaves new york, works out for a few months and then comes back all buff, mak. lol

I'd imagine he may be a little bit different in a few months, but it was noted he had a lot of time to grow under water, so I doubt any big changes will happen. If the sequel is the way Abrams said he would like to do it, then no, it should be the same.

nargh for the film aspect i don't think we will see any noticable difference. anyway we saw very little of his clovers strength so we realy have nothing to compair it too anyway.

its tru clover would of had the time underwater to gain some muscle strength but u have to remmeber moving in water is different from in land. so in terms of movement most of it would be down to its tail. also walking on the sea floor, you have rmemeber its being supporteed by water. so when its on land its legs and hands are weaker as its not used to supporting itself up without the aid of water.

in that sense yeah it will become stronger in the second movie as itll probably be used to its weight by then (if its not the same night). but other than that we won't see any other difference in the monster

He's had thousands of years underwater to grow up, he's not going to automagically grow up and be total ownage, smart one.

Also, if you read my theory, he's been living in an air pocket where he breathed air and walked on land. But those air sacks allowed him to move out to the sea when his area was destroyed, probably by deep sea drilling.

I doubt anything like that has passed through the mind of Matt Reeves or JJ Abrahms, pretty much like every other postulation there has ever been on this board.

First off, don't slam someone's theory and then offer up your own. Second, When was it ever made an official part of the story that it has been down there for thousands of years?
