Those videos are fantastic. I highly doubt they are fake. The TIDO and Tagruato logos were projected too well to be fake. The CG from the helicopter view could have been better, but overall those videos came at a good time.

If word gets around about this sinking (as it has in Europe), it would make sense for people to be saying, "It's alive." I'm sure for the next two weeks, characters in Cloverfield world will be touching on whether or not they believe this was caused by a monster. The cause of this attack will serve as a myth, and the attack on the 18th will be a clear indicator that it was all true: it was caused by a monster.

Great marketing.

TidoWave is being blamed for the Station's destruction? I'm not getting the correlation between TidoWave and the mysterious Chuai Station. Is there a timeline on when the station was destroyed? Becasue at first, TidoWave said they couldn't find the station. Now they're in the area when it's destroyed? Maybe that doesn't sound weird to you guys, but why in their January 1st post would they say "No debri, no clues, no anything" if the station hadn't been destroyed yet? Were they expecting it to be destroyed? Did they know how it was gonna be destroyed? I don't know. I could be reading into it too much, or maybe I'm just having some serious timeline issues here, but something doesn't seem right about that.

EDIT...now that I go back and read the Jan 5th post, everything make more sense.

"It’s a set up!!! All of our members know our goals and motivations are preservation of Mother Earth - NOT mass murder!!! Granted, we’re not upset that Tagruato has one fewer “death station”, but we would NEVER kill to accomplish our goals. This is yet another crime on humanity that Tagruato is trying to push off on the innocent."

So they're talking about the destruction of the station.

They already had operatives on the station, Teddy was one of them. When they went to where the station should have been, it was to find Teddy and rescue him.

This is really gettting good. It's like a real-time movie. Amazing.

Lee Grant: in the French video it's dated Dec 27. That would fit the timeline. Buy the time TIDOWave got there, everything would be gone.

I see. I didn't watch the French version yet, so thanks for pointing that out. It's starting to make sense now.

In the French video, they interview a woman who seems to be talking about her lost son (not sure since I don't speak french). They show a picture of him. I'm not certain, but I think it is Teddy Hansen. The picture looks like one I've seen w/ Jamie Lascano.
