Acoustic Covers of Non-Acoustic Songs
I just came across a video on youtube of a cute girl doing an acoustic cover of Flobots - Handlebars (which is a great song if you haven't heard it) and it reminded me of some other acoustic covers of songs that are completely opposite from the originals. I decided to try to find them all on youtube and post them up here, but if you have any others that you like please feel free to post them. You don't need to register to post on any of the topics in this section (but I do moderate them).
Flobots - Handlebars (cover by InCurrentStanding) Outkast - Hey Ya (cover by Obediah Parker) Snoop Dogg - Gin & Juice (cover by The Gourds) Snoop Dogg - Gin & Juice and Beastie Boys - Paul Revere (covers by Pailface Brad & The Killin Time Band) Eazy E - Boyz In The Hood (cover by Dynamite Hack) T-Pain - Buy You A Drank (covers by LeAnnCannon & 67Off) Rihanna - Umbrella (cover by Marie Digby) Justin Timberlake - Sexyback (cover by Rock Plaza Central) NWA - Straight Outta Compton (cover by Nina Gordon) Nelly - Hot in Herre (cover by Jill Sobule) Black Eyed Peas - My Humps (cover by Alanis Morissette) Sir Mix Alot - Baby Got Back (cover by Jonathan Coulton) Dr. Dre - Bitches Ain't Shit (cover by Ben Folds Five) These are just a few that I found and enjoyed, I know there are millions of covers of songs on youtube, so if you guys find any good/interesting ones, post em up.
